Albert L. Gibbs

Albert Gibbs II was a proud native of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and a 2001 graduate of Deerfield Beach High School. He continued his academic journey at the University of South Florida, earning degrees in Business Marketing and Creative Writing, followed by post‑graduate studies in International Business at Imperial College London.

A gifted storyteller and creative mind, Albert was a published author and spoken word artist whose voice resonated with many. His professional excellence was widely recognized — he was honored as a 30 Under 30 recipient by the Tampa Bay Business Journal and named one of the 40 Under 40 Black Business Leaders of South Florida.

Albert built a distinguished career in technology as a sales leader with Amazon Web Services (AWS), where he supported startup organizations focused on artificial intelligence and machine learning. His work reflected both his strategic brilliance and his passion for innovation.

Deeply committed to service and community, Albert was a proud member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc., an active participant in Toastmasters International, and a dedicated mentor with Big Brothers Big Sisters of America.

Albert’s life was marked by creativity, leadership, and a genuine desire to uplift others. His legacy continues to inspire all who knew him and all who are touched by the work he championed.
